    Use the divider plate, removed from the interior of the box, bend the corners a bit, and weld onto the exterior bottom of the box. This acts as a heat shield to help protect the ground, and provides a shield and catch of the openings in the box bottom which will provide draft for the fire. This will ensure you don’t end up with fires ‘under’ the fire box.
