2009-Draggins Car Show

2009 – 49th Draggins Rod and Custom Car Show in Saskatoon.

The Draggins Car Show is the longest running club operated car show in Canada, the first being held in 1961. It is a diversified family show with exhibits from all over Canada and the U.S.A.and is traditionally held on the Friday and Saturday of Easter weekend at Prairieland Park
The show is packed with hot rods, customs, antiques, muscle, classic vehicles and much, much more. Many faithful fans return every year to watch and cheer at the Battle of the Automotive Technicians. The children enjoy the Hot Wheel toys given out to the first 2000 youngsters under the age of 16, accompanied by an adult, each day.
It also reflects a sense of community with exhibits from groups such as the Saskatoon Police Department Traffic Division and the Saskatchewan Government Insurance Vehicle Safety Division Driver Examiners and Salvage Department, there to answer your questions and provide you with the necessary safety and legal issues to be aware of when restoring your special interest or custom vehicles.
You may be able to view the deployment of a vehicle air bag or see a demonstration of a vehicle roll-over showing the effects of using using your seatbelts at all times.
The Draggins strive to continue adding new and varied entertainment for all vehicle enthusiasts to come out and enjoy. Hope to see you there.
