Start Line

The start line is where the most action is.  The vehicles, the crews, the spectators.  It’s difficult to get a clear shot, free of people.  But, once the vehicles start to roll, you have a chance to get that shot.  Here I have done just that.  Lots of images as the cars leave the line, either under their own power, or with the assistance of a push vehicle.

 There were 3, yes THREE courses this year.  You can’t be in the middle, so you have to pick a side, and have a lens that will get you to the middle, or better still, the far course.  So, you will find some of these images are strained a bit, but, better than not getting the shot at all.
