Bandsaw

This little beauty I had the good fortune to come upon at a garage sale.

While I have managed to cut just about everything under the sun with my hand bandsaw, it’s hard to beat a floor model for the larger cutting, or, just making life a little simpler letting the saw do all the work.  An additional benefit of this model is that it can be tilted to act as an vertical bandsaw as well.

 There are various brands and versions out there.  The stand out features of this particular saw is that it is full bearings and entirely cast iron, making it very ridgid and long lasting.
