Stainless Steel

Stainless can be a great solution for either dressing things up, or providing protection.  It can also be a drain on the pocket book.  Contact your local appliance service or warranty depot.  Chances are, they toss all those stainless panels and doors when they are replaced.  This means, they will likely have no objection to you taking them.  It is always better to offer something as it may pay off down the road.  In my case, any replacements that are done, if the service man is in my area, he delivers them to my door.  Seldom is there any damage to the stainless.  It is usually something to do with the plastic, or electrical components of the door.  The doors are fairly easy to skin with a little practice as they are attached by a polyurethane foam to the plastic interior panel.  Lots of panels on disk washers and the like are free standing, requiring no effort at all.  All said and done, you have stainless steel, about 22ga, cheap or free
