Dangerous Goods and the Environment

  As consumers, we really do not think about the chemicals, fuels etc that we use every day.  When you are in a business, you will need to consider how to deal with any incident that involves dangerous goods, (also called Hazardous Products).

  Ask yourself

• Is racing fuel more volatile than regular fuel
• Is there anything special about Nitrous systems or alcohol fuels
  • Can I import Nitrous gas cylinders into the US
  • How many can I legally transport
• If there is a spill, who do I contact
  • Local police in most provinces and states
• How much can I spill before I must contact the authorities
  • In Canada, the rule is more than 100litres
