Hairpin Radius Front Suspension

The Hairpin is a very popular front suspension with the street rod Rat Rod and traditional Hot Rod crowd for use with a straight axle front end. It is simple in design and works very well. The plans with work with a stock or tube axle using a transverse leaf spring. 

Application: Universal fit for most Street Rods , Traditional Hot Rods and Nostalgia Rat Rods  using a transverse front spring.

Options: Drawings show you what to measure to produce a working front suspension specific to your car or truck. Can be used for a traditional Ford axle or with an aftermarket tube axle. Three styles of radius rods are shown: Traditional Hairpin , Curtis and the straight top.
