    I am thinking very very seriously about buying a v12 XJS Jaguar and I want to rebuild the engine to forged components and High Performance cams Can you great folks help with this scenario?? If I can’t make the V-12 depndable and everything but bullet proof then I’ll come up with something else

      Hi Russell..
      Well, in my opinion, the engine it’s self is extremely durable and reliable.
      The biggest reliability issues relate to the fuel injection, injection control and ignition systems.
      There are as indicated in the article, replacement systems that provide the reliability.
      There are also ‘upgraded’ systems such as those offered by AJ6 engineering, that can greatly improve ‘electrical/electronic’ reliability, without completely breaking the bank. Depending what your end objective is will likely be the greatest determining factor.
